I sit here thinking about this post I was going to make and my mind is over whelmed with grief. My wife and I have been involved in youth ministry for 7 years and in those years we have experienced many wonderful memories yet sadly we have also experienced many tough ones. Last night was one of them when we got news that a special youth had attempted suicide and was in critical condition. She is less then a month from being 16 years old, and should be experiencing some of life’s most exciting memories, yet life had been so difficult for her that she wanted what she felt was the way out and she wanted it now. It is 9:55am and the last word we got was she had very little brain activity and within 3 hours if there are no signs of turn around they will be removing the life support.

What was the root cause of this… nothing more then not being able to see anything past the big wall in front of her and she wanted it to stop now… no matter who else it hurt.

So what does this have to do with divorce online… if you have to ask that question then read my words again. Could there be this wall that you are looking at and perhaps only need to step back a few steps and be a little more patient and think of others you are going to affect before you take such a big step as divorce. Divorce online to me is the phrase that sums up our society… this commitment is nothing, the children are not as important as I am and I want this divorce now so lets got it done.

This young girl Chelsea who has done this is no more wrong then any of us that make selfish decisions without caring of the outcome for others.
